MLB 2012 Specifications

Now you can have your bat made to the exact specifications as the pros.

All bats used in professional play in both the Minor Leagues and the Major Leagues must adhere to the following specs:

Each bat must have an ink mark on the handle to show that the radial slope of grain is in compliance
Each bat must have an ink mark on the handle to show that the tangential slope of grain is in compliance
Each bat must be marked with a unique number in order to trace the manufacturing date and history
All bats must now be labeled on the edge grain surface of the bat instead of the face grain surface

MLB spec prohibits the addition of any flags on bats so your bat will NOT come with a flag
